Mom and Dad made it...Yeah!
G and G Head arrived late Friday night, and just in time for Saturday's celebration of Pioneer Day. The kids were so excited to wake up Saturday morning to my Mom and Dad. We took them on a long walk of our neighborhood, then off to Calef's (our favorite Country store) for penny candy and yummy baked goods. Then we grabbed lunch at a local Dairy bar "Sugar and Ice"
Then off to the church for some Pioneer fun. The ward went all out with making butter, make your own ice cream, games, old-time photo's, and wagon rides. The even was perfect with dutch oven cooking, and yummy blueberry and peach cobblers to finish off. What a great day.

We need to find a recipe for sour pickles, man they are good, however it is hard to straten your face out after eating one.
