Following Saturday- The twinners will be baptised.

We are all so excited for all of these upcoming events. Mostly I'm just so grateful to have as much family as I can get around. We miss all of our Peterson and Head family. Come see us soon.

WOW!

Our neighbors, Rob and Lisa, are trying to move( I say trying, because houses aren't really selling right now in our neighborhood). So in effort to de-junk their home they came across some old school supplies. Rob used to be a elementary school teacher. They thought we could use these supplies...Uh...Yeah! Caleigh, Miles, and Griff are in heaven. They think their the luckiest kids in the world. Now I have to figure out how to keep Elliot from drawing on all the walls...

the whole loot included...markers, crayons, scissors, erasers, chalk, outdoor chalk, 37 rulers, books, compasses, glue sticks, paint, Popsicle sticks, paper clips, and all wrapped up in these two old school cubbies that take up my entire square table. Wow, Could we be anymore spoiled.

Beach Day...Finally

With the rainy days we've been having, we didn't think a beach day was going to happen for us this year. But it finally warmed up(if you think 72 degrees is warm) and we loaded up our beach gear and headed up to Maine. The kids got to try out their new "surf" boards and play in the sand. Even though it wasn't very warm the beach was still full of people and plenty of kids in the water. Mike and Caleigh walked along the beach and look for shells and I enjoyed sitting and watching the waves roll in and out. Oh, and I had to keep Elliot from dumping sand on every bodies heads.

Happy Anniversary...and Happy 4th.

July 1st we celebrated our one year anniversary in our home. Can you believe 1 year has gone by? It's been amazing, and I feel so blessed to live in our wonderful home. We marked the day with fish and chips from Johnson's and Wicked Whoopi Pies. So yummy!

Happy 4th...we had a great Independence day. We started the day with strawberry shortcake biscuits and then headed down to Portsmouth, NH. The Strawberry banke museum does a big 4th of July celebration. The outdoor museum is amazing with some homes dating back to 1695. The gardens surrounding the home are beautiful, making you feel like your in a Jane Austin movie. The fun part were the people dressed in period clothing. Musketeers fired off some shots and most people had fresh popped Kettle Corn in tow. When we first arrived the kids were given a scavenger hunt consisting of 5 questions they had to have answered at the different houses. They were shy about asking the actors/historians their questions, but the motivation of a prize helped them muster up their courage. It was a great time, but of course, I forgot my camera....maybe next year.

We ended the day with a great BBQ with friends, a bike parade, and fireworks. It was the perfect 4th.

Our June Hap's

The month of June came and went. Here's some of what we did...

Miles and Caleigh had a field trip to Sqwuam Lake science center.

Griffin graduated Kindergarten. Way to go...we weren't sure if you were going to make it.

I made this shirt for Griff's last day of school.
