Happenings

So we really have been having a great couple of weeks. Aunt Tracy came for a short visit and we had fun taking her to the seacoast science center, then to tour a submarine (Holy Crap, it is small).
Her time was short here, but we love that she gets to come so often. Thanks Tracy for helping with Elliot and her potty training.

Before she left we were able to grab sandwiches at D'Angelo's. The place was busy with it's usual lunch rush and we chose to sit down at a table close to a man filling out an application. Elliot looked over at the 20-something year old guy and said in her loudest voice, "mom, I don't like that boy." He didn't even look up, but there was no doubt to anyone in the place who she was talking about. Uh... I wasn't sure what to say. "what do you mean, what boy?" Wrong questions, because she then repeated her previous statement, "I don't like that boy!" Tracy was quick at covering saying, "Oh, who Griffin, your brother, Of course you like him." She luckily dropped it, but I wonder what offended her?

I Love this! Lydia does this too. She took an instant dislike to her doctor and insisted he was going to "eat her"! Who knows? Maybe they see something we don't.

We were chatting at lunch a few weeks ago that you guys see Tracy more than we do and we live so close to her. How sad it that! We are going to try to be better. Happy Fall!

Ha! You actually missed the start of that whole exchange while you were ordering the food. The guy said Hi to Elliot, and then she turned to me and said she wanted to sit somewhere else because she didn't like that boy (all while pointing right at his face). I didn't know what to say, either. "It's a free country," I told her. "Sit wherever you want."

It is so nice to know Laura got her double. Elliot reminds of when Laura was little. Not afraid to say anything. Way to go Elliot. I am glad Aunt Tracy gets to come and spend time. I keep looking to plan our next trip. Haven't found a bargin yet.
