A personal challenge.

I thought I would get a jump start on my new years resolution to finally loose my baby weight from Elliot (can I still call it baby weight even though she's about to turn 3?). Anyway, so my personal challenge is to go Sugar-Free from the day after Halloween to Thanksgiving. This has got to be the hardest thing for me, and I'm not 100% sure I can do it, but I really do want to be healthier and this will help me. Why am I telling you all this? Well, I figured I would have much more success if I made my goal public on my blog. Look forward to a Sugar-Free counter.

You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! I am soooo addicted to sugar, and I did Southbeach after Felix was born and I loved it.

Hey, I want a meal-by-meal account of everything that goes in your pie-hole. Sorry, that sounded a little harsh. That's what helps Ryan and then I look at it at the end of the day. Good Luck. I am totally NOT prepared to make that kind of goal.

I am willing to take on the challenge with you. I am not sure I can do it either but I need a challenge. So check in with me daily.

I think I should try that goal too but not right before I go on vacation! I think I might make it my December 12 in 12 goal. Good luck and keep us posted!

I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! I did it all of SEPTEMBER! It was awesome. I cut out all simple carbohydrates. It was SOOOO tough the first couple days. You have to keep reminding yourself that ...ahh, I can have an oreo in one month... I can have a hershey in one month, et.I ended up putting my family on it. Not exactly, but we cut out a ton of processed garbage and my kids started liking veggies again! And when I did it I tried to make it a personal fast- and so I could call on the Lord for help. We are to do hard things, and doing something this hard will improve your character and make you a stronger, better, person. Just make sure you have a gameplan for after you quit. That seems to be my trouble.

Good luck. However, my secret to losing weight was after meeting with a dietician... we decided I was eating tooooooo little!!! What???? So, I fill myself with fruits and veggies snacks throughout the day and I did NOT give up my diet Coke!! Just an FYI in case you don't want to completely torture yourself. :)
