Plymouth, Mass: Thanksgiving festival

What a great way to kick off our Thanksgiving Celebration, a visit to Plymouth Mass. Grandma and Grandpa Peterson were staying there and we were able to meet up with them for a Thanksgiving Festival!

The Parade was the main event, and it did not disappoint. The floats were great, there were many, many marching bands, and some great characters in between.
Isn't this Pirate great?

The were even balloons! Not like Macy's, but the kids loved them.

Look at this ladies hat! Isn't it great?

Now I know the Plymouth Rock isn't much to look at, but at least we can say we've seen it. What a great day. We had a wonderful lunch with G and G Peterson and had to bid them farewell. Plymouth was a charming town, and I'm glad we were able to see it.
