The other day Griffin came home from school and was giving me the usual run down of his day. After declaring that he has been in school 165 days he begins telling me a funny anecdote of one of his friends. After about the 10th "my friend," I asked him the name of his friend. His reply...."I don't remember his name."
Again, Griffin has gone to school 165 days.

Flume Gorge- Happy Memorial Day.
We had a great Memorial day enjoying one of NH state parks. The Flume Gorge is amazing and a wonderful hike. We were glad to have great friends with us. The weather was a perfect 72 degrees. It was a great day, the kids loved the "bear cave" and the "wolves den."
Elliot was amazing, she has a future in hiking. She didn't want to be carried, and even insisted on carrying Mikes water bottle. Caleigh found her a "baby pine cone" early on in the hike, Elliot put it into her pocket and would pull it out to show everyone multiple times. "see baby pine cone, cute!" The other kids did great too. Miles took the longest turn carrying our "pack" (a Bob-the-builder backpack.) The hardest part seemed to be stopping for all the pictures we took.

Whit Foster the science guy.
You've all heard me brag about our great neighborhood, we really are blessed. Tonight we walked up to our friends the Foster's, for Science Club. Whit is a great guy who loves science, so he does science experiments with the kids of the neighborhood. Tonight he taught them about Pressure, and shot off an "real" rocket. The kid's loved it and had a great time.
Oh, and on our way up we stopped by another neighbors house to get Caleigh's hair thinned out. It's getting so long and heavy, and with summer right around the corner, she needed some of it gone. Thanks Lara, for making her summer "Cool!"

My amazing MAN!
This has been a crazy week for our house with Mike finishing up school. He has been stuck to the computer all week. At one point he stared at the screen for 18 hours straight (of course there were 2 minute breaks in there, he has to eat!). Yesterday we all drove down to UNH as a family and he turned in his final paper for the semester. Then we celebrated at La Festa, our FAVORITE pizza place. Yumm! I could eat a dozen cinnamon knots all my self.
I am so proud of my Man. I can't believe what an amazing work ethic he has. I could never have the desire to pound away at a paper for that long. We still don't have his grades yet, but as far as the homelife side goes; He gets an A+
Congratulations Mike, only 4 more years to go! (the picture below was taken last summer, but the building looks the same.)

Photos Shoot- The ant's go marching one-by-one.
I took the kids up to a cute backdrop to take some pictures of their coordinating Easter outfits last Sunday. They were actually having good attitudes about the whole thing, until I noticed the "big ol' " ants marching on the same wall. So these are the only shots I took, not our best work, but we'll try it again in a less "anty" place.
