The kids and I worked hard this year to make Mike's birthday happen. With baseball/softball/piano/cubscouts/activity days/and dance class it's hard to fit most things in this day, but we played hookie on a softball game to celebrate this great guys birthday.
The kids still had piano, but we picked up some Chinese and subway for dinner. Then opened presents and ended with Mike's fav. rainbow chip cake. The kids and I had fun picking out presents for Mike. Caleigh and Elliot went in together on an Angry Bird T-shirt. (we are all obsessed with playing Angry Birds on the Nook.) Griff got Mike some new shades (because his futures so bright) and Miles got him another T-shirt. He wanted to get him an UNH hat, but we checked 5 local stores and couldn't find one. Mike will just have to pick one up on campus one of these days.
Mike is so great and deserved a good birthday. He works so hard for our growing (as in, my four children are growing fast) family. We love you Mickie!

Okay, the bottom of this post says Mike works hard for your "growing family".... any new developments we need to hear about??
Tres
Rest assure there will be no more babies for this family. The phrase "growing family" refers to the fact our four children are growing like weeds. Miles eats like a teenager and he's only 9, yikes!
